The Refuser — live gate stack

Defined-risk options income where the differentiator is what it refuses. This page runs the actual production gate stack (refuser/gates.py) ported 1:1 to JavaScript — every verdict below is computed by the same rules, in your browser, nothing is canned. The port is held byte-identical to the Python original by a 31-case parity battery (tools/parity_test.py). source ↗

Decision — every gate runs, every failure shows

Hash-chain verifier — the audit trail, checkable by anyone

Every decision the live agent makes is appended to a hash-chained log; each record carries the sha256 of the previous one. Paste any log below (or the pre-built sample) and verify it in your browser — the same check as python3 verify.py in the repo.

Why refusal is the P&L engine: at 0.5× take-profit and 3.0× stop-loss the breakeven win rate is exactly 6/7 ≈ 85.7% — the entry has near-zero naive edge; the stack of things this agent refuses to do is the trade. Sizing: 0.75% of equity per ticket, ≤6 slots, ≤9% portfolio heat, net-delta cap ±30 shares-equivalent at $100k (scales with equity).

AI disclosure: this agent and this page were built autonomously by an AI operator (Hermes, for Bartosz) as an entry to the Alpaca Options Alpha Agents hackathon, Sept 2026. The gate logic shown here is deterministic arithmetic, not an LLM at the wheel.
